An historic Session stumbles along the pavement towards you, scares your children, falls over and then passes out while peeing itself this week, as NZ Pubcast loses the plot in the absence of the departed Shifty Rob... (don't worry - he's only departed NZ)Despite this almost fatal blow, Johnny Dodge and (Rob's replacement) Andrew the Canadian manage to make it to the pub to squeeze out a session for your listening (alcohol drenched) pleasure... where we:

We discuss some interesting factoids about NZ - and for the first time ever, we leave the bar... and walk to another bar... to see former pubcast guest Caroline Joy perform for the good people of Fat Eddies...

Well done boys. Shifty look out you may have been usurped. Blowins blowing into two pubs and out into the street a fine change of format. Tell me you didn't walk the back streets of Christchurch wearing headphones and carrying a wireless laptop. What a geekfest! Canadians still sound polite even when trying to be vulgar. Beaver indeed . . .

Thanks guys:) No, there's no way I would walk the streets carrying a laptop... (not when I can make someone else do it for me instead:)
Only messin... we've been using a small digital recorder (about the same size as a ipod nano) and so I thought it might be good to take a mid-session walk... Sound quality isn't likey to improve anytime soon - not until I can afford some better equipment anyways... but you can expect more of this kind of thing in future:)
Shifty will of course be back with avengence in a couple of weeks - I was just trying to wind him up saying that we were going to replace him:) We'll be doing another session without his Shifyness and then I expect we'll be back to the usual line up...
Totally agree with you Baino re. Andrews attempts to be vulgar... We'll just have to see if we can dirty him up more:)

Ya, clean enough to be healthy; dirty enough to be happy. Isn't that the mantra we're all trying to live by?
