NZ Pubcast - Session 23: Improved Sound... Same Bad Aftertaste

Mornin’ Y’all…

That wretched smell from the internet could only mean another episode of NZ pubcast has finally emerged.

In this session we trawl through the recent Global Peace Index and find out how New Zealand placed. Look into the sinister world of some electricity companies and have a crack at the latest discussion on wind farms - including why one of New Zealand’s most famous hookers is weighing in on this debate.

And not to be outdone… El Diablo squeaks his way into the show once again with the full support of a nation behind him.

John Butler Trio supplied their track 'Better Than' for the intro and we were left with Atlas and their chart topper 'Crawl' ringing in our ears.

  • Yep, we got 'farked' here alright, there's still a tree down in my back yard waiting for a big boofhead with a chainsaw. And a bloody big ship stranded off the central coast that nobody knows quite what to do with.

Global Warming myth busting . . .now there's a topic for a L-o-n-g podcast if you can keep your audience awake.
Are we at the end of the last ice age? Is industrialisation to blame or is it just a furfy?

Personally, if we can stop cows burping it would be a step forward.

The lovely Helen Clark is visiting and reporters are trying desperately to get her to say six . . .she's avoiding it.

    Sound's much better.

    Cheers :)

  • Thanks for that Baino:) We'll be dedicating an entire pubcast to that little topic in the near future...

Sorry to hear about your tree. I wish I was there so I could hug it... before Shifty comes along to chainsaw it to death.

Next pubcast will be coming to you from the Wunder Bar in Littleton - tho it might be a little while off...

  • Dodge, you were right. Everyone wants to be Irish! Only the Irish have a handle on it.
    Brian: yer a unit!
Sorry. . .monopolising the blog again. It's a habit.

  • Goan Brian you good thing - Might have to post that link on here as well - and follow the rest of Irish Blogdom... I never realised there was such things as Irish Trolls... I guess no-one would respect them if they were leprecans:) I'm still getting to grips with the MyFace thing - so forgive if I'm abit slow on the uptake...

Baino - Ever seen Million Dollar baby? Morgan freeman said something along those lines... But I don't mind our foreign cousins saying they're Irish... as long as they'll stay up drinking with me:)
