NZ Pubcast - Session 20 - Drinking Irish Stout in English Pubs and clubbing seals to death is the way forward
In a post St Paddies day 20th Pubcast Session, Shift and Dodge get together in Christchurch's only "English Pub' to talk about such pubcast staples as beer, the environment and why 3 billion people in the world need to just go...
On the beer front: Why the Irish bars in Christchurch are shite, why the English pubs serve nicer Irish Stout, Why Canterbury Draught is the worst beer in NZ...
On the environment: Shifty explains why killing whales and clubbing seals is good for New Zealand...
And we round it all off with a blast of Irish music from some kiwis (Hoob Nail Boots)

I don't think baby seals should be allowed to go clubbing all night until they die. That's just cruel allowing them to dance and chat up cute girls until the wee hours of morning. By that time they are exhausted, drunk, broke and frustrated at not getting lucky with some cute girly and they end up on the beach dead.
That is just wrong! We need to stop baby seals from clubbing!!!

Yep - you're on to something there Brian - It all starts out innocent enough... a couple of beers and a shot.. then out come the party pills... things get crazy and it all ends in tears.
And thats just the music they're forced to listen to.

I would love you guys to break down where NZ fits in with Australia in the whole Canada/US, Ireland/UK kind of thing...

We have talked about that before - tho not in a huge amount of detail - we'll talk about it next session so listen out for it...
We'll try and get an Aussie and a Kiwi on the show at the same time on a later show so we can have them head to head:)

I am very privilidged. I've had three invitations to stay in two days within just one week of expanding my blogpals. (I don't think they think I'll ever take 'em up on it - more evil laughter ensues!)
Thanks heaps for linking me in you're a champ! And it's the worst distraction/addiction I've had for ages.
Travel all depends on the ficklness of the real estate market in Oz. .
There will be no forcing necessary . . .I'll be there as soon as I hear the pop of a cork!
