Random Kiwi Ads

Since its been a little while since the last Session - and that we're going to make you wait a whole week before the next sess gets posted, here's a little fix of kiwi kulture to keep you going...

I'm not a huge vodka fan (got sick on it so many times as a child) but when I do decide that it's time to get utterly rat arsed - the Kiwi brand 42 Below isn't a bad choice... What follows are some internet ads run by the company and , as you'll soon see, they are quite humorous...

Kiwis can be a very funny lot when they want to be...

Last but not least...

  • Ah Johnny - Always a joy but aren't pommes tiny potatoes? I guess if the cap fits . . .

  • Aw - maybe I got the spelling wrong..? Can you not not spell it that way? I know you can say 'poms' but I wanted to say 'pommes' like to say 'small english people'?

    Maybe its pommies??

  • Were all those ads really on NZ television?

  • No - only on the internet... its a good idea - create a few 'risky' ads - email them out and folks just 'have' to forward them to all their mates because they're so funny - all while pushing the brand...

Worked on me. But then I'm a pretty shallow person.

  • Aha guerilla marketing, gotta love it. Hey Johnny. Not NZ news strictly speaking but what's you're opinion on Richard Branson's latest offer http://bainosbanter.blogspot.com/

  • I think its great - anything to help things along, that what I say. I know Richard is a filthy rich person who probably has more cash than sense but there's something about the guy I like - maybe its the beard, maybe its those awful jumpers he wears - or maybe its the idea that he actually gives a toss about humanity pushing past the simplistic small mindless and pettiness that keeps us all poor and unhappy... He's got stacks of cash so he might as well do something interesting with it - which makes him a better person than 95% of the people in his salary bracket... so more power to him...

Plus it allows him to continue wreaking the air in the world with his airline and still look like a concerned environmentalist...
